How to handle anxiety?

It’s funny that we experience stress in different ways but sometimes we are unaware of where it's coming from and what is causing it. Managing stress ultimately depends on your perception of your views towards that situation.

It becomes overwhelming only when stress accumulates beyond your coping abilities and without adequate recovery. The consequences of being anxious affect ourselves and the people around us in various ways. Sometimes we need a push to be our better selves and to accept life just as the way it is.


Just as they are various reasons and consequences causing you stress; it also has multiple ways of dealing with it. In such cases, your daily activity helps improve your well-being and mental health.


Just as with anything else in the world managing and reducing takes time. On that note, let's enter into this blog on various steps of managing anxiety.


1. SELF-CARE:

Caring for yourself once in a while will help in soothing your physical and mental health. It need not be a luxurious saloon appointment to be made from your side for a glow-up. Our thoughts in mind and our way of approach in dealing with life will immensely direct your mind and body to bliss.


2. SPEND TIME WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE:

Spending time with the people whom you think make your life better with their presence is the most precious gift you can get in this lifetime. In our busy day-to-day lives if the person is ready to hear out all your shit throughout the day. Always be grateful for them. On the other hand, if you don't have one, at the end of the day no matter what it is the only one who is gonna stay is you. Soo just pat your shoulders and cheer up!


3. MAKE TIME FOR HOBBIES:

Besides our busy lives and stressful situations making time for hobbies may seem funny to many. Instead of spending hours on social media which only leads us to overthinking and stress. Making time for hobbies and doing them consistently will distract you from your stressful life. It can comprise anything from practicing singing, dancing for a few minutes a day, playing any instruments, reading, or even meditating.


4. EAT HEALTHY AND SLEEP WELL:

Eating well doesn't mean consuming loads of unhealthy food with unwanted calories. The benefit of consuming healthy food is it controls your appetite when your stomach is sufficiently full. On the same side sleeping well doesn't mean sleeping for more than 8 hours a day when not required. Laziness is only caused due to poor diet and lack of sufficient physical activity.


CONCLUSION:

Overthinking plays a significant role in stressful situations. Thinking about the possible outcomes of a situation and the acceptance of whatever comes on a positive note will help in your peace of mind.


But overthinking is sometimes about only thinking about the negative outcome and not letting to eliminate your triggers.


Your life happens according to how your mindset is.

You need to have positive hope and a mindset on whatever life throws at you.


REMEMBER, NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN STOP ON WHAT’S COMING FOR YOU; AND NOTHING CAN PUSH THROUGH INTO YOUR LIFE ON WHAT’S NOT DESTINED FOR YOU!
