Season of joy-II:

“His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse;

Nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;

The Lord delights in those who fear him,

who put their hope and faith in his unfailing love”

Psalm:147:10-11.

God doesn't look after our earthly strengths, It's not about who’s the bravest, strongest, richest or smartest. God loves and treats everyone equally regardless of their life goings, sins, and actions in their life.

Our saviour who created us always has hope for our redemption for our sins such that we need to have the same.

We need to accept and let our emotions flush through our thoughts. Too many of us are accustomed to not letting go of emotions and thoughts bothering our peace of mind.

It is not something we willingly do, we just create the conception to not go of these thoughts until resolved.

Instead of letting go, we play the victim of our issues without doing anything to solve them. Our destiny to peace of mind can only be achieved by refusing to interpret our emotions in a negative and disempowering way.

In our II'nd series, we are going to further dig into the doings in the days of the season of joy/season of advent;

  • Biblical Affirmations.

  • Acts of kindness.

  • Opening up.

  • Spending quality time as well as productively.

BIBLICAL AFFIRMATION:

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—

Whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear.

Isn’t life more than food and your body more than clothing.”

Matthew:6:25

The season of advent prompts us to perceive the importance of trust, letting go of anxieties about the temporal and embracing the eternal significance of Christ's coming. The sentiment behind Christmas is truly made out of love and acceptance.

God truly knows what you need in life and has the best plan for you. To reciprocate the gratitude of his blessings is to not only read but also let enter the word of God into your heart and apply it in your daily life.

ACTS OF KINDNESS:

Christmas holds immense significance as a joyous celebration worldwide, symbolizing love peace, and togetherness.

Decorations illuminate homes, fostering a warm, festive spirit. Beyond religious connotations, Christmas fosters a universal sense of generosity, encouraging acts of charity and compassion.

The holiday season promotes reflection gratitude and bonding, emphasizing the importance of spreading happiness. It’s a time when people set aside differences, embracing shared humanity.

In essence, Christmas transcends religious boundaries, fostering a global sense of unity, joy and shared goodwill.

OPENING UP:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Matthew:11:28-29

During this season of advent, we must open up our hearts to Jesus, who himself can give us redemption. To bring down all the burden-bearing heaviness to our hearts.

We need to always remember that Jesus cares. During situations when even slight thoughts hit us that he let go of us, that is when we need to have the utmost belief in him. With the understanding that he and he alone is eternal and nothing is impossible for him.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received, and it will be yours!”

Mark:11:24

SPENDING QUALITY TIME:

In a note of commemoration of the birth of Christ, promoting goodwill and kindness, families unite, exchanging gifts and relishing festive feasts.
